Monday 24 August | 10.00-10.30 | Room: Exhibition Hall
CH2M

CH2M was named the 2015 Stockholm Industry Award Winner for transforming the practice and perception of wastewater. By pioneering the third step of wastewater treatment, the company challenged the concept of wastewater by showing that just because water has been used it doesn’t have to be wasted. CH2M’s Water President and lead technologists will discuss the importance of potable water reuse in designing a more sustainable water future for our world and convey a sense of urgency in the need for reuse. This discussion will focus on the technological advancements and solutions that make potable water reuse possible and will share how innovative education tools can be implemented to gain public acceptance to expand understanding of the full urban water cycle.
