World Water Council / 8th World Water Forum Secretariat

Join us on the road to Brasilia 2018

Wednesday 30 August | 11.00-12.30 | Room: FH Cabaret

The international calendar is punctuated every three years by the World Water Forum and its agenda for change through collective action. The 8th World Water Forum organized jointly by the World Water Council and Brazil, will take place in Brasilia in March 2018. It will include the traditional three Forum processes - Thematic, Regional and Political -, a Citizens Forum, an Exhibition and a new Sustainability Focal Group. Preparations are underway, including the 2nd Stakeholders Consultation meeting held in April 2017, a major step in developing and operationalizing the 8th Forum’s program.

Building on the solutions that were formulated during past Forums and the outcomes of the 2nd Stakeholders Consultation meeting, this event will seek to present the latest information on each of the Forum's preparatory processes and explain how to get involved in the run up to the event.
