Why Women? Why Water? The Gap Inc. and USAID Alliance

Join Gap Inc. and USAID for a discussion related to their new partnership, the Women + Water Alliance, which aims to improve and sustain the health and wellbeing of women and communities touched by the apparel industry. The Women + Water Alliance is USAID’s first water sector initiative to focus on women as change agents to improve water and sanitation services. The showcase will begin with a brief overview of the Women + Water Alliance’s vision and objectives in India, including the role of key Alliance partners: CARE India, Water.org, Institute for Sustainable Communities (ISC) and International Center for the Research on Women (ICRW).
