Launch Water Security journal; Panel discussion on sanitation and health

As a teaser of contents and ambitions of a new scientific journal, Water Security, presentations from two leading scholars, Joan B. Rose (Michigan State University) and Rita R. Colwell (University of Maryland) will provide insights in the success and failures of bringing knowledge into the world of practice and vice versa. Focus is on concrete example(s) of a lack of water security and of the best possible knowledge and its role in concrete action. Outcomes from the ShowCase will be published in Water Security. The journal will publish reviews and synthesis papers that contribute to a better understanding of the economic, social, biophysical, technological, and institutional drivers and consequences of current and future water security, identifies key knowledge gaps and debates in this area (https://www.journals.elsevier.com/water-security)
