The WWF Water Risk Filter was co-developed with KfW(DEG) in 2012 and has been used by over 3,000 users to assess hundreds of thousands of sites. This showcase will be the global launch of the upgraded Water Risk Filter 5.0, which uniquely assesses both basin and operational water risk. Along with a more user-friendly interface and improved data, the tool also now includes several brand new functions to help companies and investors value and respond to water risk.

Participants will be amongst the first in the world to see this enhanced water risk tool, which will boast the most water risk data (including high resolution data for 10 countries), as well as the ability to securely login and save data to enable annual revisions. Version 5.0 also offers new valuation tools to identify the optimal approaches to valuation, a value potentially affected calculator. Furthermore, based on water risk exposure, it now tailors customized water stewardship responses and resilience recommendations by site and portfolio, all linked and aligned to various stewardship frameworks (e.g., AWS, CEO Water Mandate, CDP, Ceres, SDGs, etc.). Come get to know the new Water Risk Filter and explore, assess, value, respond.
