”Twenty meters of a mountain stream.”

For five years, swedish photographer Hans Månsson has been returning time and time again for photo sessions to a small, nameless, mountain stream in the north of Sweden. A tiny part of nature, with beautiful secrets that lie beyond the territory of the human eye – only possible to capture and interpret with the help of the digital camera. Depending on factors like season and time of the day, water flow and weather conditions, the photographer's mood, etc, the stream continues to show new faces and expressions.

”I hope that the images will convey something of what I feel that the creek is telling me. That we must see the relationships between local and global – and cherish our water resources in a sustainable and responsible manner", says Hans Månsson.

The exposition with photos from this mountain creek has been touring all over Sweden (and Iceland) since 2011, and is continuously renewed with new stunning photos.

You find the exhibition among the Jubilee activities outside the conference building. See also www.vattenvarld.se
